Encounter: Lakeview

Lakeview was a lot of fun.

Lacye got sick on the first day *sad*.  She enjoyed, though, her few hours of camping experience.  Her main joy of camp:  the infirmary and it's staff.  :)

Tessa did totally awesome at the ropes course.  She hung a good thirty or so feet from the ground, and zipped down a zip line!

Richard caught some fish.  If the regulations weren't so strict on size (you'd have to feed the fish steroids to get any big enough to keep) we would've had some fish for dinner!

We learned some valuable lessons:

                                    +Bible verses really are relevant

                                    +Foam frisbees attack people

                                    +Christians and Church can actually be fun

                                    +Love includes giving up stuff for the good of others with no return expected

                                    +Blowup water slides are just as good as real water slides

                                    +Devorah could give Aretha Franklin a run for her money!

                                    +God even cares about scruffy, stinky, messed up youth like ourselves

Can't wait 'til next year!
