Church Bulletin Board

· There will not be a Fall Festival this year.  Instead, on Halloween night, Sunday, October 31st, an event called TRUNK OR TREAT! will be held in the South parking lot from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This will offer a safe place for members of the community to bring their children for their trick-or-treating and fun activities.  More information will follow in the October newsletter.  Dana Jordy and Starr Miner are heading up this event.

· Call Marilyn Bauer, at 936/856-3610, to register for the UMW Fall Retreat, which will be held at the home of Lovie Price on Saturday, October 23rd.  Rev. Janet Stillwell will be speaking on “The Life of the Beloved.”

· Remember the next UMW meeting will be Tuesday, September 14th, at 9:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center.  Following the meeting, lunch will be served.  All ladies of the Church are invited to attend.

· The UMW has storage capacity for large items you would like to donate to the Garage Sale next Spring.  Contact Sandra Braun at 936/856-6442.
