Spotlight on Members

· CAITLIN MOORE, who teaches at Lynn Lucas Middle School, was named Citizen of the Month in December by the Willis Community Development Corporation.  She was nominated by grandparents of her students for ensuring that their grandchildren have all the tools they need to be successful in life.  They stated that “Ms. Moore goes above and beyond the call of duty and her compassionate nature is an inspiration to all.”

· BILL SMITH was selected by the Texas State Daughters of the American Revolution for Outstanding Community Service out of 95 DAR Chapter with over 16,000 in membership for the State of Texas.  The award was presented at the TSDAR-Texas State Conference in San Antonio on March 10. 

· CALI ROPER is well on her way to the State finals in Cross Country AGAIN—after her recent first place wins—in the 1600 and the 3200 at Regionals earlier this month.
